Shasheela Motors is set to introduce a new electric passenger bus with a 22-seat capacity under the Vanche brand in Nepal. The booking for the bus, aimed to be launched around Dashain, is already open.This electric bus which comes equipped with CATL's 123 kW Lithium Iron Phosphate battery can travel 300 kilometers on a single full charge. It has a torque of 400 NM and a peak power of 140 kW, according to the company.The bus is 25 feet long, with spacious seats and ample legroom, air conditioning and all necessary safety features, making it suitable for both long and short distances.
Santosh Khatiwada, Shasheela Motors' Managing Director, has assured that all necessary spare parts, servicing, and maintenance would be arranged before the bus arrives, ensuring hassle-free service for the operators. The company claims that this is the first electric vehicle with a 123 kW battery capacity to be introduced in Nepal.
The company has been selling commercial vehicles for the past ten years and is the official distributor of Higer electric buses in Nepal. Now, it has also become the official distributor for all buses and vans of the Vanche brand, a leading bus manufacturer in China.
